Job summary

L&T Technology Services in Bengaluru is seeking a Civil Engineer to review and approve detailed engineering deliverables for Solar and Wind power plant projects. You will assess plant layout drawings, GA drawings, and installation concepts.

You will also coordinate with EPC contractors, validate BOQs, and ensure compliance with IEC, IS, Eurocodes and other global civil standards for safe, reliable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering required.
• Experience in Solar EPC and wind infrastructure projects: civil & structural systems, layouts, roads and pavements, drainage systems, trenches for MV cabling.
• Familiarity with IEC, IS, Eurocodes.

Responsibilities

• Review, coordinate, and approve detailed engineering deliverables submitted by EPC contractors for Solar and Wind power plant projects, including plant layout drawings (solar array, wind turbine layout, substations, pooling stations, main buildings), GA drawings, installation principles and construction methodology documents, as per local standards.
• Clash reports & coordination drawings, BOQ validation reports.
• Review site studies (topo, hydro, geotech, pull out tests)
• Provide clarification to site execution teams
• Support QA/QC in inspection of foundations, layout verification, compliance checks.
• Ensure compliance with ISO codes & IEC standards, Eurocodes and other global standards for civil and structural engineering.

Job description

• Provide engineering governance, technical validation, construction assurance, and EPC oversight support for Wind, Solar PV projects.
• WiIll be part of the team acting as an independent technical review and approval authority supporting project execution teams.

Scope:

• Solar PV: plant layout, foundations, earthing & lightning, pooling substation and power evacuation.
• Wind: WTG civil interfaces, trenches, substation, turbine foundations, access roads, hardstands, and civil code compliance.

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• Experience in Solar EPC and wind Infrastructure / Power Projects: Civil & structural systems, layouts, roads and pavements, drainage system, trenches for MV electrical cabling etc.
• Familiarity with IEC, IS, Eurocodes

Experience: 5-12 Years

Preferred Skills

• In-depth knowledge of renewable power plant design practices, EPC workflows, and stage-gate engineering approvals
• Experience in survey drawings & topography, and Basic understanding of Excel-based BOQ analysis .
