• At least 15+ years on lift/escalator or related infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Specification Governance: Vetting technical standards for Public Service grade lifts/escalators.
• Site Leadership (CRE): Overseeing installation of trusses, drive units, and guide rail alignments.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring units meet EN 115 / EN 81 and local fire life safety norms.
• System Integration: Coordinating power with E&M and SCADA/Station Management System.
• Testing & Commissioning: Directing full-load tests and CMRS safety certifications.
• Lifecycle Management: Developing maintenance strategies and energy-saving technologies.

Currently, we are bidding for Metro projects across India. The position of Chief resident Engineer - Lifts & Escalators is the key position in these BIDs

Missions/Main Duties

• Specification Governance: Vetting technical standards for \"Public Service\" grade lifts/escalators designed for 20+ hours of daily continuous operation.
• Site Leadership (CRE): Overseeing the physical installation of trusses, drive units, and guide rail alignments to ensure precise mechanical tolerances.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring all units meet global standards (EN 115 / EN 81) and local fire life safety norms (auto-homing/emergency stops).
• System Integration: Coordinating power requirements with E&M and integrating units with the SCADA/Station Management System for remote monitoring.
• Testing & Commissioning: Directing full-load tests and leading the technical demonstrations required for CMRS safety certification.
• Lifecycle Management: Developing long-term maintenance strategies and implementing energy-saving technologies like VVVF drives.
