Job summary

SYSTRA India, a leading engineering and consulting group for public transport, seeks a Chief Engineer(Systems)/System Integrator/Interface Manager for major metro bids. You will develop the master MSIP framework to ensure signaling, rolling stock and traction power communicate seamlessly.

You will act as final arbiter on interface control documents, resolve clashes in cable routing and power, and oversee RAMS to meet SIL levels.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering.
• Required total 20+ years of experience.
• 15+ years of experience in relevant projects.

Responsibilities

• Systems Integration: Developing the master framework (MSIP) to ensure Signaling, Rolling Stock, and Traction Power communicate seamlessly.
• Interface Control: Authorizing Interface Control Documents (ICD) to define physical and functional boundaries between Civil, E&M, and Systems contractors.
• Conflict Resolution: Acting as the final arbiter for clash resolutions in cable routing, space allocation, and power requirements.
• Safety Assurance: Overseeing RAMS to meet global Safety Integrity Levels (SIL).
• Commissioning: Leading technical defense for CMRS and ISA approvals during final testing, trial runs, and system acceptance.
• Lifecycle Strategy: Planning for long-term system upgrades and obsolescence to ensure the network remains operational for decades.

Currently, we are bidding for Metro projects across India. The position of Chief Engineer(Systems)/ System Integrator/ Interface Manager is the key position in these BIDs.
Missions/Main Duties

• Systems Integration: Developing the master framework (MSIP) to ensure Signaling, Rolling Stock, and Traction Power communicate seamlessly.
• Interface Control: Authorizing Interface Control Documents (ICD) to define physical and functional boundaries between Civil, E&M, and Systems contractors.
• Conflict Resolution: Acting as the final arbiter for "clash" resolutions in cable routing, space allocation, and power requirements.
• Safety Assurance: Overseeing RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) to meet global Safety Integrity Levels (SIL)
• Commissioning: Leading technical defense for CMRS and ISA approvals during final testing, trial runs, and system acceptance.
