Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of site installations including Traction power, Tunnel Ventilation, HVAC, and Fire Protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with Good for Construction drawings and specifications.
• Interface coordination with civil works and signaling to avoid on-site clashes.
• Validate material quality and conduct stage-wise inspections of electrical and mechanical assets.
• Verify quantities on-site for contractor payments and manage SAT and As-Built handover.

Currently, we are bidding for Railways projects across India. The position of Resident Engineer- E&M is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties

• Technical Oversight: Direct supervision of site installations, including Traction power, Tunnel Ventilation (TVS), HVAC (ECS), and Fire Protection systems.
• Drawing Compliance: Ensuring all site work strictly follows the "Good for Construction" (GFC) drawings and technical specifications.
• Interface Coordination: Aligning E&M activities with civil works (sleeves/conduits) and S&T (power requirements) to avoid on-site clashes.
• Quality & Inspection: Validating material quality upon delivery and conducting stage-wise inspections of electrical and mechanical assets.
• Measurement & Billing: Verifying work quantities on-site for contractor payment certifications.
• Testing & Handover: Witnessing Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), managing snag lists, and ensuring "As-Built" drawings are accurate for final handover.

Profile/Skills

• Graduate Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/Electronics Engineering OR a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics Engineering.
• 10+ years for Graduate Degree holders or 15+ years for Diploma holders of total experience
• Relevant experience required 10 years for graduate Degree or 12 years for Diploma holders in execution/supervision of tunnel E&M project
