Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Lucknow invites a senior Operations Head to lead end-to-end solar EPC and renewable energy project operations across multiple sites.

You will shape operational strategy, drive timely project execution with strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards, and manage budgets, scheduling, and risk. The role requires 10–15 years of leadership in solar/renewable energy, fluency in English and Hindi, and a North India preference.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Solar or Renewable Energy.
• Currently in a leadership role such as Operations Head or Country/National Operations Manager.
• Experience managing multiple large‑scale solar projects.
• Hands‑on project execution, engineering operations, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Proven ability to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams across locations.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Fluency in English and Hindi.
• Based in Delhi/NCR, Lucknow or North India preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee end-to-end operations across multiple solar EPC and renewable energy projects.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth plans.
• Drive timely execution of projects while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Manage project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
• Supervise engineering, project management, procurement, installation, commissioning, and maintenance teams.
• Monitor project progress through regular site inspections and operational reviews.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, and project resources.
• Take ownership of P&L, project profitability, operational costs, and revenue performance.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency improvements.
• Build strong relationships with customers, EPC partners, government authorities, consultants, and vendors.
• Resolve operational bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Establish KPIs, operational dashboards, and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and best operational practices across locations.
• Lead and mentor regional operations teams, ensuring high employee engagement and productivity.
