Job summary

SafEarth Renewables in India is seeking a motivated Solar Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial solar installations across key Indian markets. This role offers the chance to shape sustainable energy solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in Delhi, Jaipur, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience managing solar projects in commercial or industrial sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Familiarity with Indian solar regulations, permitting processes, and grid interconnection standards.
• Willingness to be based in or relocate to Delhi, Jaipur, Bangalore, or Hyderabad.

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of solar projects, from site assessment and design coordination to commissioning and hand‑over.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost‑effective execution.

• Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal engineering teams to align expectations and resolve technical issues.

• Monitor compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

• Prepare regular progress reports, risk assessments, and performance metrics for senior management and stakeholders.

• Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices for future projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience managing solar projects in the commercial or industrial sector.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.

• Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.

• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.

• Familiarity with Indian solar regulations, permitting processes, and grid interconnection standards.

• Willingness to be based in or relocate to Delhi, Jaipur, Bangalore, or Hyderabad.

Nice to Have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.

• Experience with solar design or performance modeling tools.

• Experience with solar plant operations post installation

• Exposure to multiple renewable energy technologies beyond solar, such as energy storage.

• Fluency in additional Indian languages to support regional client interactions.
