Job summary

xPay is seeking a high-ownership executive to work directly with the CEO on strategy, priorities, and critical business initiatives.

You will own cross-functional projects across GTM, Product, Operations, Finance, and Partnerships, and act as a potential successor to the CEO.

The role requires ~10 years of experience in fast-paced environments, excellent judgment, and a founder mindset to drive growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a high-growth startup, consulting, investment banking, fintech, SaaS, or similar demanding environment.
• Proven ability to own complex, ambiguous problems end-to-end and drive execution.

xPay is a Y Combinator backed international payments company building an international payment gateway focused on cross-border payments, making it dramatically easier for businesses to move money across borders. Our customers are B2B SaaS companies who need fast, reliable, and cost-effective payment infrastructure to serve global users.These businesses are increasingly moving their international volumes from billion dollar companies to xPay as we expand our footprint across 180+ countries and support 25+ currencies. Since January 2025, we have grown 73× and now process over 1 million transactions every month.

Cross-border payments is a $200 trillion market. Our top customers include Publicly Listed, Series D and Series E companies across various sectors like EdTech and Travelling processing millions through us every month.

The Role

This is a high-ownership, high-intensity role for someone who can operate as an extension of the CEO. You’ll work across strategy, business, operations, and execution — taking ambiguous problems, breaking them down, and driving them to outcomes.

Over time, this person is expected to take increasing ownership of the CEO’s responsibilities and operate as a potential successor to the CEO.

What You'll Do

Work directly with the CEO on company strategy, priorities, and critical business initiatives, turning decisions into execution.

Own high-impact, cross-functional projects across GTM, Product, Operations, Finance, and Partnerships.

Act as a force multiplier for the CEO — preparing for key decisions, driving follow-ups, and ensuring company priorities move forward.

Dive deep into business performance, identify gaps and opportunities, and drive initiatives that have a measurable impact on growth.

Represent the CEO and xPay across internal and external stakeholders when required, while building the judgment to independently make high-quality decisions.

What We're Looking For

~10 years of experience in a high-growth startup, consulting, investment banking, fintech, SaaS, or a similarly demanding environment.

Proven ability to own complex, ambiguous problems end-to-end and drive execution without needing detailed direction.

Strong business judgment, analytical thinking, and exceptional communication skills.

Comfortable working across functions and with senior stakeholders, including founders, investors, customers, and partners.

Founder mindset — high ownership, low ego, extremely high execution standards, and the ambition to eventually operate the company.
