Expert in Fundraising, Risk Management and Financial Strategy for NBFC Growth
Roles & Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive financial plans aligned with the company’s strategic objectives, providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
- Financial Management: Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Cost Leadership and Optimization: Spearhead cost leadership and optimization efforts across the business to maximize asset utilization and drive business improvement initiatives.
- Financial Reporting and Presentation: Own financial responsibilities, including financial reporting and budgetary management, and present to the Management, Shareholders Committees, and the Board of Directors.
- Cash Flow Management: Ensure prudent management of the company’s cash flows and financial risk exposures in line with Board-approved directives and strategies.
- Monitoring Financial Practices: Monitor and review finance and treasury policies, procedures, and practices in line with accounting standards, legal requirements, and good industry practice.
- Fund Raising: Secured funding through Various instruments, enabling the NBFC to strengthen its capital base, expand its lending products and meet regulatory capital adequacy requirements.
- Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO) Management: He will also have to manage the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO).
- Liquidity and Risk Management: Optimize monetary assets, manage daily liquidity and risk, and ensure sufficient cash reserves for ongoing operations.
- Investment Strategy and ALM Alignment: Develop and implement investment strategies, liaise with other financial teams, and align the ALM process with the organization’s overall risk management framework.
- Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning, and providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 15+ Years of experience
- Education: CA
- Must be from a NBFC
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Proven experience in finance leadership roles
- Experience managing financial risks and compliance.
- Strategic Financial Planning Skills
- Must have good Investor Relations
