A fast-growing, profitable NBFC based in Delhi-NCR is seeking an experienced Finance Controller.

Qualifications / Experience

• Qualified CA
• Minimum of 12 years’ experience, with at least 6 years in the BFSI industry
• Leadership experience including the ability to set direction, manage and motivate people and work collaboratively with other functions

Roles & Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the CEO / senior management, lead the Finance and Accounts function, ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory norms, and implement and maintain a robust internal control system
• Financial Reporting and Budgeting
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
• Conduct a robust annual budgeting exercise, working with cross-functional heads
• Monitor variances from budget and implement corrective actions if necessary
• Analyse key performance metrics and provide insights to support decision making and improve key metrics
• Compliance
• Stay up-to-date with updated accounting standards and rules notified by RBI and other regulators from time to time
• Ensure financial reporting is in line with updated regulations at all times
• Audit
• Coordinate and manage audits, including statutory, internal and tax audits, ensuring timely and accurate information sharing
• Address audit findings and implement actions to enhance financial controls
• Treasury and Cash Management
• Interact closely with lenders and other financial institutions to optimize balance sheet yield and ensure availability of funds as needed
• Investor Relations
• Maintain relationships with investors and ensure transparent sharing of information in the form of regular MIS reports
