Job summary

SYSTRA in India seeks a Chief Expert-Radio System including FRMCS for international projects. Based in Ahmedabad/Delhi, you will lead design reviews and oversee installation, integration, testing and commissioning of LTE/5G systems for high-speed rail signaling.

The role requires 20 years in Railways/Metro, with at least 10 years in Radio System and 2 years leading ETCS signaling for high-speed rail. You will coordinate with S&T, Rolling Stock, E&M and other agencies to ensure successful

Qualifications

• Total Experience: Overall 20 years in Railways/Metro.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 10 years in Radio System (GSM-R/TETRA/Wi-Fi/LTE-4G/5G) in Rail-based Transit System projects.
• Specific Experience: Minimum 2 years as in-charge of Radio system for ETCS Signalling in High-Speed Rail Projects.

Responsibilities

• Design review of LTE/5G System.
• Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of LTE/5G System.
• Interfacing LTE system with S&T, Rolling Stock, E&M, Asset Management System, etc., and interface document approval.
• Verify completed work and prepare payment requests to contractors.
• Assist Client in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Coordinate with agencies like ISA, CMRS for project completion.
• Accept other duties assigned by PD and Client.

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai - Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Location: Ahmedabad / Delhi

Missions/Main Duties

• Design review of LTE/5G System.
• Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of LTE/5G System.
• Interfacing of LTE system with S&T, Rolling Stock, E&M, Asset Management System etc. (as required), and Interface document approval.
• Verify completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist Client in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client.

Profile/Skills

• Educational Qualification:
  • Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent)
• Experience:
  • Total Experience: Overall 20 years of experience in Railways/Metro.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum10 years of experience in Radio System (GSM-R/TETRA/Wi-Fi/LTE-4G/5G) in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.
  • Specific experience: Minimum 02 years of experience as in-charge of Radio system for ETCS Signalling system works in HighSpeed Rail Project(s)***.
• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
  • High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
  • Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
  • Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
• High-Speed Rail Project mean High Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph.
