Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a Chief Expert-Integration, Testing and Commissioning (International) stationed in Ahmedabad to lead the integration, testing and commissioning of signalling, telecommunication, SCADA and ticketing subsystems for a major Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project.

Required is engineering graduate with substantial experience in rail-based transit systems, notably in integration during construction and at least 2 years in-charge roles on High-Speed Rail projects.

Qualifications

• Total Experience: Overall 20 years of experience in Railways/Metro.
• Relevant Experience: 10 years of experience in integration of Systems during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s).
• Specific experience: Minimum 02 years of experience as in-charge of Integration, Testing and Commissioning in High-Speed Rail Project(s).

Responsibilities

• Planning of integration, testing and commissioning of sub systems/prototypes of S&T-OCC system.
• Prepare integration, testing and commissioning plans based on inputs from all sub systems, standards, best practices, operational requirement so as to demonstrate the System readiness for commercial operations.
• Final acceptance of the S&T-OCC System based on the results of the prototype, serial and/or system test.
• Submitting all necessary documents and have discussions etc. with CMRS / RDSO/ other Statutory Authorities to obtain approvals.
• Plan, arrange and supervise all the trial tests, if required, with the support of the Client(NHSRCL), well in advance of the trial runs.
• Assist and coordinate with different parties i.e. contractors, ISA etc.
• Any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Min. Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent )

Experience

• Total Experience: Overall 20 years of experience in Railways/Metro.
• Relevant Experience: 10 years of experience in integration of Systems during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.
• Specific experience: Minimum 02 years of experience as in-charge of Integration, Testing and Commissioning in HighSpeed Rail Project(s)***.
• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
• High-Speed Rail Project mean High Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph.
