Job summary

SYSTRA India seeks a Site Engineer-Radio System including FRMCS-2 for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project. Location is on-site; responsibilities span design reviews, installation, testing, and interfacing with S&T, Rolling Stock, and E&M components during construction.

Minimum qualification is an engineering graduate with 5 years (or diploma with 7 years) in radio systems on rail projects, with familiarity of GSM-R/TETRA/WiFi/LTE-4G/5G systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with 5 years, or Diploma with 7 years in Radio System during construction in rail projects.
• Experience with GSM-R, TETRA, WiFi and LTE-4G/5G in rail transit projects.
• Knowledge of High-Speed Rail, Metro Rail and related evaluation criteria.

Responsibilities

• Assist in LTE/5G system design reviews.
• Assist in installation, integration, testing & commissioning of LTE/5G systems.
• Assist in interfacing LTE with S&T, Rolling Stock, E&M, Asset Management, and approve interface documents.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare payment requests to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Coordinate with agencies (ISA, CMRS) for successful project completion.
• Assist and perform other roles as assigned by PD and NHSRCL.

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Location: Site

Missions/Main Duties

> Assist Chief Expert and Dy. Chief Expert in performing tasks that include the following but not limited to:

• Assist in Design review of LTE/5G System.
• Assist in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of LTE/5G System.
• Assist in Interfacing of LTE system with S&T, Rolling Stock, E&M, Asset Management System etc. (as required), and Interface document approval.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

> Assist Section Engineer in their assigned works. > Any other work required to be performed to complete the project.

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent )

Min. Experience: Engineering Graduate with 05 years, or Engineering Diploma with 07 years of experience in implementing Radio System (GSM-R/TETRA/WiFi/LTE-4G/5G) during construction phase in Railbased Transit System project(s)*.

*Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:

• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
