Job summary

SYSTRA India is seeking a Section Engineer-Telecommunication System to support the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project. The role involves design reviews, installation, testing and commissioning of telecom subsystems across the project’s signalling, SCADA, and ticketing domains.

The candidate should have an engineering degree with 7+ years (BE/B.Tech) or 10 years (Diploma) in telecom for rail-based transit construction, and proven ability to coordinate with agencies and interface with

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronics or diploma with relevant rail telecom experience.
• 7+ years for BE/BTech; 10 years for Diploma in telecom during construction in rail projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design review of telecom backbone, data transmission, CCTV, PIDS and SCADA subsystems.
• Assist in installation, integration, testing and commissioning of telecom systems.
• Interface telecom with rolling stock, signalling, MEP and SCADA; approve interface docs.
• Assist in payment verification and statutory approvals for NHSRCL project.
• Coordinate with agencies such as ISA, CMRS for project completion.

Position: Section Engineer-Telecommunication System

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Location: Ahemedabad/Delhi

Missions/Main Duties

• Assist in Design review of Telecom System including sub systems for backbone of data transmission from field units to centralized control centres (DTS), Wireless Network, CCTV, Access Control, PIDS, PAS, Master Clock, EPBAX, Telecom SCADA etc.
• Assist in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of Telecom System.
• Assist in Interfacing of Telecom System with Rolling Stock, Signalling Subsystems, MEP, SCADA etc. and Interface document approval.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent )

Experience: Engineering Graduate with 07 years, or Engineering Diploma with 10 years of experience of implementing Telecommunication System during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
