Job summary

SYSTRA invites applications for a Site Engineer-Radio System including FRMCS-2 to support Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project. The role focuses on LTE/5G system design review, installation, integration, testing and commissioning during construction, with coordination across S&T, rolling stock, E&M and asset management interfaces.

The candidate should have an engineering degree and 5–7 years in radio systems within rail-based transit projects, including GSM-R/TETRA and LTE/5G

Qualifications

• Min. Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent )
• Min. Experience: Engineering Graduate with 05 years, or Engineering Diploma with 07 years of experience in implementing Radio System (GSM-R/TETRA/WiFi/LTE-4G/5G) during construction phase in Railbased Transit System project(s)*.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Design review of LTE/5G System.
• Assist in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of LTE/5G System.
• Assist in Interfacing of LTE system with S&T, Rolling Stock, E&M, Asset Management System etc. (as required), and Interface document approval.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).
• Assist Section Engineer in their assigned works.
• Any other work required to be performed to complete the project.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
