Job summary

LT-Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Design Engineer Electrical in India to lead the design delivery of Electrical systems for tendered and operating projects. The role requires coordinating with site execution teams and vendors to ensure compliance with design and terms & conditions.

The candidate should have 5–10 years of design experience, with strong knowledge of specifications, calculations, and common electrical software tools like ETAP and DIALux.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years design experience on Electrical systems.
• Knowledge in technical specification, design calculation and analysis of the requirement of all the Electrical systems.
• Working experience in ETAP, DIALux or similar simulation software is an added advantage.
• Knowledge on interdisciplinary input preparation for Electrical/HVAC/Fire/ Architect/Civil etc.
• Basic working knowledge on AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Design delivery of Electrical systems, including calculations, drawings, specifications, BOQ for tender and operating projects.
• Coordinate with site execution teams and vendors to ensure design is followed and T&C is completed.
• Demonstrate expertise in building projects such as airports, hospitals, railways, metros, stadiums, malls, hotels, convention centres, offices/IT buildings.

Role Summary

Design Engineer Electrical will be responsible for the overall design delivery of the Electrical systems. The role will include design, coordinate and provide design calculations, drawings, specifications, BOQ and other technical documents for tender and operating projects. The person also needs to coordinate with site execution team and vendors to ensure that design is followed, and T&C; is done accordingly. He/she should have expertise in building projects like airports, hospitals, railways and metros, public spaces like stadium, malls, hotels, convention centre, offices/IT buildings etc.

Desired Skills

• Should have 5 to 10 years design experience on Electrical systems.
• Positive knowledge in technical specification, design calculation and analysis of the requirement of all the Electrical systems.
• The person who has working experience in various simulation software like ETAP, DIALUX and similar software will have an added advantage.
