Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in India is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to lead tender and detailed design of Electrical Services for diverse projects nationwide. The role focuses on complex functional requirements such as data centers, airports, industrial, residential, and commercial developments, ensuring compliance with NEC/NBC/IS guidelines.

The candidate will prepare SLDs, equipment layouts, and cable tray configurations, while performing load flow and arc flash studies.

Qualifications

• Experience in tender and detailed design of electrical services for data centers, airports, industrial, residential and commercial projects.
• Proficient in preparing SLD and Equipment Layout per NBC/CEIG/electricity rules/IGBC/IEC/IS.
• Skilled in load flow analysis, arc flash study, and voltage drop calculations.
• Experience with BIM/Revit for detailed design.

Responsibilities

• Tender and detailed design of electrical services for projects across India.
• Detailed design work for greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Prepare SLD, Equipment Layout per applicable standards.
• Create cable tray layouts, earthing layouts, load lists with balancing, and lighting/power layouts.
• Perform load flow, discrimination, arc flash, and relay settings as required.
• Develop BIM/Revit models for detailing.
• Review proposed electrical system testing and commissioning methods.

Job Summary

Responsible for the tender and detailed design of Electrical Services for various projects across India

Responsibilities

• Tender and detailed design of Electrical services, especially in complex functional requirements viz, Data Centers, Airports, Industrial, residential and commercial projects, etc.
• Skills in detail design for green field and brown field project.
• Experience in Electrical Detail design, electrical calculations for diversified projects like Data center, Residential and commercial buildings, etc.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Electrical design software like ETAP, DiaLux, AutoCAD and other software like Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Should be able to prepare SLD, Equipment Layout as per NBC/CEIG/Electricity Rules/GRIHA/IGBC/IEC/IS.
• Should be able to prepare detail layout drawings for cable tray, earthing layout, Load list with load balancing, fault calculation, voltage drop calculation, lux calculation, LPS design, cable routing, lighting, and power layout drawing, etc.
• Able to perform Load flow analysis, discrimination study, arc flash study, relay setting on ETAP or equivalent software.
• Able to perform lux calculation on DiaLux or equivalent software.
• Able to develop detail design on BIM/Revit with the help of BIM/Revit modeler.
• Undertake a prior review of the proposed electrical system testing and commissioning methods and schedule.
