Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Senior Design Engineer (Electrical) to lead end-to-end design delivery of electrical systems for major projects. The role requires coordinating with site teams and vendors to ensure adherence to design, specifications and T&C protocols.

The ideal candidate will have 15–20 years of experience in electrical design for airports, hospitals, railways, metros, and stadiums, with strong skills in ETAP, DIALux, AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in a relevant field.
• 15–20 years of design engineering experience in electrical systems for large projects.
• Experience with ETAP, DIALUX, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks.
• Knowledge of coordination with site execution teams and vendors.
• Experience with airports, hospitals, railways, metros, and public spaces like stadiums.

Responsibilities

• Design delivery of electrical systems for projects from concept to execution.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, BOQ and other technical documents for tender and operating projects.
• Coordinate with site execution team and vendors to ensure design is followed and testing & commissioning are completed.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines (Electrical/HVAC/Fire/Architect/Civil) for integrated project delivery.

Role Summary

Design Engineer Electrical will be responsible for the overall design delivery of the Electrical systems. The

role will include design, coordinate and provide design calculations, drawings, specifications, BOQ and other

technical documents for tender and operating projects. The person also needs to coordinate with site

• Good knowledge in technical specification, design calculation and analysis of the requirement of all the Electrical systems. The person who has working experience in various simulation software like ETAP, DIALUX and similar software will have an added advantage.
• Knowledge on interdisciplinary input preparation for Electrical/HVAC/Fire/ Architect/Civil etc.
• Basic working knowledge on AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks
