Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on CFD experience.
• Experience with centrifugal pumps or hydraulic equipment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, turbomachinery, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS Workbench, ANSYS SpaceClaim, and Fluent Meshing.
• Knowledge of cavitation analysis desirable.
• Experience with CFturbo is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and prepare CAD geometry using ANSYS SpaceClaim.
• Generate meshes using Fluent Meshing.
• Set up and execute steady-state and transient simulations in ANSYS Fluent.
• Evaluate standard hydraulic performance parameters.
• Conduct cavitation studies and analyze NPSH-r performance.
• Support new product development and design optimization activities.
• Compare CFD predictions with experimental test data and recommend design improvements.
• Collaborate with hydraulic, mechanical, and testing engineers throughout the product development cycle.
• Develop and maintain CFD best practices, validation methodologies, and simulation procedures.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CFD Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations, preferably in the field of centrifugal pumps, vertical turbine pumps, and other hydraulic equipment.

The candidate will be responsible for performing flow simulations, analyzing hydraulic performance, supporting product development, and validating designs through numerical studies.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS Workbench, SpaceClaim, and Fluent Meshing.

Knowledge of cavitation analysis is highly desirable.

Experience with CFturbo is preferred.
