Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role overview:

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Centre Manager to oversee the overall operations of an Allied Sciences and Paramedical Education Centre. will be responsible for managing student enrolment, academic operations, faculty coordination, centre administration, student experience, collections, compliance, and business performance.

Role & responsibilities
1. Centre Operations
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the education centre and ensure smooth functioning.
  • Ensure adherence to organisational policies, SOPs and academic processes.
  • Maintain centre infrastructure, facilities, equipment and overall discipline.
  • Coordinate with central teams for administrative, IT, HR, finance and operational requirements.
  • Ensure timely resolution of operational issues and student concerns.
2. Student Enrolment & Business Development
  • Drive student admissions and enrolment targets for various allied sciences and paramedical programmes.
  • Coordinate with the counselling/admission team to improve enquiry-to-admission conversion.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, schools, colleges and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Support local marketing, outreach activities, seminars, career counselling sessions and admission campaigns.
  • Monitor centre-level revenue and enrolment performance against targets.
3. Academic & Faculty Management
  • Coordinate with faculty members to ensure effective delivery of academic programmes.
  • Monitor faculty attendance, class schedules, lesson plans and academic delivery.
  • Ensure timely completion of syllabus, assessments, examinations and academic activities.
  • Monitor student attendance, academic performance and clinical/practical training requirements.
  • Address faculty and student academic concerns in coordination with the academic team.
4. Student Experience & Retention
  • Ensure a positive and engaging student experience throughout the student lifecycle.
  • Regularly interact with students to understand their concerns, feedback and expectations.
  • Monitor student attendance, retention, dropouts and academic progress.
  • Ensure timely resolution of student grievances and escal critical matters appropriately.
  • Organise student engagement,orientation, workshops and other centre-level activities.
5. Fee Collection & Financial Management
  • Monitor student fee collection and outstanding payments.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on pending fees and coordinate with the finance team for reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate records of admissions, fee collections, refunds and other financial transactions.
  • Monitor centre expenses and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
6. Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure proper maintenance of student, faculty and centre records.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable academic, institutional and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain documentation related to attendance, examinations, faculty records, student records and centre operations.
  • Ensure readiness for internal/external audits and inspections.
7. Team Management
  • Lead and manage the centre team, including counsellors, coordinators, faculty and support staff.
  • Define responsibilities and monitor individual/team performance.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
  • Identify training and development requirements for team members.
  • Foster a professional, disciplined and student-centric work environment.
8. MIS & Reporting
  • Prepare and submit regular centre performance reports to the management.
  • Monitor key metrics such as:
    • Student enquiries and admissions
    • Enrolment and conversion
    • Student attendance
    • Fee collection and outstanding
    • Student retention/dropout
    • Faculty attendance and utilisation
    • Academic progress
    • Centre revenue and expenses
    • Ensure accuracy and timely submission of MIS and other reports.
Qualifications
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any relevant discipline.
  • Qualification in Management, Healthcare Administration, Education, Allied Health Sciences or a related field will be preferred.
Experience
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in education, healthcare education, allied sciences, paramedical education or vocational training.
  • Candidates with experience managing an education/training centre or healthcare education institute will be preferred.
  • Experience in admissions, counselling, centre operations and team management will be an added advantage.
