Job summary

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. seeks a Category Engineer-Electrical Proprietary to ensure quality standards and the supplier quality system for electrical engine proprietary components, ensuring defect-free supplies and timely development.

You will collaborate with suppliers, perform audits and PPAP activities, and support new model development with a focus on process improvements. You will work closely with suppliers on day-to-day activities for the respective parts, applying PFMEA, SPC, MSA, and APQP to

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• 5 Years of experience in automobile industry
• Experience in PFMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP & APQP
• Experience with supplier quality systems and proprietary parts

Responsibilities

• Adhere to quality standards and supplier quality systems for Electrical Engine proprietary components
• Ensure zero defect supplies and closure of issues/deviations
• Conduct audits/QAVs, warranty analysis, and benchmark best practices
• Establish product, process, and system approvals for smooth NMD development
• Work closely with suppliers on day-to-day activities for relevant parts

Category Engineer-Electrical Proprietary

Ensure adherence to quality standards & system of Electrical Engine proprietary components by evaluation & improvement of product & process quality at supplier end to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

A purpose driven role for you

Ensure defect free supplies from Suppliers

• Zero Defect Supplies(DOL)
• Ensure closure of issues/deviations

Ensure Quality Sustenance & Improve Existing supplier/ components through

• audits/QAVs and gap closure
• warranty analysis
• benchmarking of Best Practices to deploy horizontally

Ensure Product, Process & System approval and establishment for smooth and trouble free development within stipulated time during New Model development.

A Day in the life

You will work closely with suppliers and vendors on day-to-day basis for respective parts

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.Tech in Electrical Engineering 5 Years of experience in automobile industry
