Job summary

Hero MotoCorp Ltd. in India is seeking a Category Engineer - Vehicle Evaluation & Survey to drive quality-centric activities for new model field establishment.

You will identify defects at vehicle and component levels, analyze data, and ensure timely closure of issues across the entire vehicle system, including frame and engine drivability. You will participate in Proto-M1 ride evaluations for next model development events and resolve design/manufacturing issues to achieve 100% field issue

Qualifications

• B.Tech holder with 4–5 years of experience in vehicle evaluation.
• Experience in testing frame and engine drivability for two-wheelers.
• Familiarity with ECN workflow, PLM and SAP processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• New Model Field Establishment with respect to quality concerns.
• Identify defects at market/vehicle or component level; perform analysis and drive closure loops.
• Participate in Proto-M1 ride evaluation for next model development events.
• Resolve design and manufacturing issues; ensure 100% closure of field issues during IQC.
• Leverage past learnings and manage knowledge for gate clearances and design updates.
