Job summary

HRD House is seeking a senior procurement professional to manage CAPEX and OPEX engineering purchases for fertilizer sector expansion and modernization. You will oversee end-to-end procurement of process equipment, utilities, electrical, instrumentation, and HVAC, and coordinate with engineering and finance teams.

The ideal candidate has 15–20 years in CAPEX/OPEX procurement, strong vendor development and negotiation skills, and hands-on SAP/ERP experience.

Qualifications

• B Tech Mechanical Engineering candidate with 15–20 years of CAPEX/OPEX engineering procurement experience.
• Experience in Agrochemical, Chemical, Specialty Chemical or Fertilizer CO is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, vendor development, cost optimization and contract management skills.
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP and engineering equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle CAPEX/OPEX engineering procurement for greenfield expansion and modernization projects.
• Procure process equipment, utilities, electrical, instrumentation, automation, HVAC, piping and other engineering items.
• Identify, evaluate and develop vendors; negotiate and finalize terms.
• Manage RFQ, techno-commercial evaluations, price negotiations, PO placement and delivery tracking.
• Drive cost optimization, budget control and procurement savings.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Finance, Production and Maintenance teams.
• Monitor vendor performance, contracts and timely project execution.
• Oversee SAP/ERP-based procurement processes, MIS and audit compliance.
• Lead CAPEX procurement team and develop alternate sources.

• The Candidate will be responsible for vendor identification, development, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization.
• The Candidate will be responsible for RFQ, techno-commercial evaluation, price negotiation, PO placement, and delivery tracking.
• The Candidate will be responsible for cost optimization, budget control, and procurement savings.
• The Candidate will be responsible for coordinating with Engineering, Projects, Finance, Production, and Maintenance teams.
• The Candidate will be responsible for vendor performance, contract management, and timely project execution.
• The Candidate will be responsible for SAP/ERP-based procurement processes, MIS, and audit compliance.
• The Candidate will be responsible for leading the CAPEX procurement team and developing alternate sources.

Preferred candidate profile

• The Candidate should haveB.Tech Mechanical Engg with 1520 years of experience in CAPEX / OPEX Engineering Procurement.
• The Candidate should have experience in Agrochemical, Chemical, Specialty Chemical OR Fertilizer CO.
• The Candidate should have strong negotiation, vendor development, cost optimization, and contract management skills.
