Job summary

Adani Group is seeking a CAPEX Project Coordinator to oversee the planning, execution, tracking, and closure of capital expenditure projects. You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, finance, contractors, and plant stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.

The role requires 3–8 years of experience in CAPEX or related fields and an engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil), with MBA/PGDM preferred for project management aspects.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil or equivalent required.
• MBA/PGDM in Project Management preferred.
• 3-8 years of experience in Project Coordination, CAPEX Management, Engineering Projects, Manufacturing, Cement, Metals, Power, or Infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

• CAPEX Project Coordination - Coordinate execution of CAPEX projects from approval to commissioning.
• Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks.
• Ensure adherence to approved project scope, cost, and timelines.
• Budget & Financial Monitoring - Track CAPEX budgets and expenditure against approved allocations.
• Support preparation of project cost estimates and budget forecasts.
• Monitor PR, PO, invoice processing, and payment status.
• Maintain CAPEX utilization reports and MIS dashboards.
• Procurement Coordination - Coordinate with procurement teams for timely sourcing of materials and services.
• Track procurement status and vendor deliveries.
• Follow up on pending purchase orders and contract execution.
• Project Documentation & Compliance - Maintain project files, approvals, drawings, contracts, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Support preparation of project approval notes, investment proposals, and closure reports.
• Stakeholder Management - Coordinate with engineering, production, maintenance, finance, procurement, and vendors.
• Organise project review meetings and maintain action trackers.
• Ensure timely communication and escalation of project issues.
• Reporting & MIS - Prepare weekly and monthly CAPEX progress reports.
• Track project KPIs and ensure timely updates to management.
• Generate dashboards showing project status, budget utilization, and completion trends.
