Job summary

Adani Group in Mumbai is seeking a senior finance leader to define capex budgeting frameworks, governance and DOA controls across large real estate/infrastructure projects. Responsibilities

• Define capex budgeting framework, approval workflows and DOA controls for capex spend.
• Track commitments vs budgets; perform periodic forecasting and variance analysis for capex lines.
• Ensure WBS/CTC mapping and capex coding integrity in ERP/SAP; fix exceptions promptly.
• Govern CWIP ageing, capitalization policies and timely transfer to fixed assets with documentation.
• Maintain asset register integrity and run reconciliations; support audits and closure of observations.
• Align capex phasing to project milestones and funding drawdowns; manage end-use reporting.
• Validate capex payment support documents; enforce controls and segregation of duties.
• Publish capex MIS (utilization, ageing, capitalization status, risks) for leadership reviews.
