Job summary

VLink Inc. is seeking an experienced IT recruitment professional to support Public Sector hiring across the USA and Canada. You will manage end-to-end recruitment for State Government IT roles, source and screen candidates, and collaborate with hiring managers to deliver qualified talent.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of Canada IT staffing experience, strong knowledge of Public Sector processes, and hands-on ATS/VMS experience to maintain metrics and onboarding activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–5 years IT staffing experience in Canada.
• Experience with state/public sector recruitment and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for State Government and Public Sector IT requirements across Canada.
• Source, screen, and qualify candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and full-time roles.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and account teams to define job requirements and deliver qualified talent.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline for niche IT roles.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, offers, and onboarding.
• Maintain candidate records and recruitment metrics in the ATS.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for State Government and Public Sector IT requirements across the Canada
• Source, screen, and qualify candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and full-time opportunities.
• Work closely with hiring managers and account teams to understand job requirements and deliver qualified talent.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for niche and high-demand technology roles.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate follow-ups, offer negotiations, and onboarding activities.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment metrics within the ATS.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in Canada IT Staffing.
• Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on experience recruiting for State Government, Public Sector, or Provincial Government clients.
• Strong understanding of Public Sector hiring processes and compliance requirements.
• Experience working on IT positions across various technologies and domains.
• Excellent communication, candidate assessment, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, Boolean search, and talent mapping.
• Hands-on experience with ATS platforms and recruitment tools.
• Proficient in MS Office and recruitment reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication should be excellent.
• Candidate should have Experience with VMS portal like-Fieldglass, Vector, Beeline.
