Job summary

CloudIngest is seeking an experienced Canada IT Recruiter to source, engage, and place top technology talent across Canada. The ideal candidate understands Canadian staffing, work authorization, and tax terminology, and uses modern recruitment tools to achieve hiring goals.

You will manage the full lifecycle for IT contract and permanent roles, screen for technical skills and fit, and partner with hiring managers to present well-matched candidates.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of IT recruiting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian work authorization and visa terminology.
• Familiarity with Canadian tax and employment terms such as T4, T4A.
• Hands-on ATS experience (Bullhorn, JobDiva, Ceipal, iCIMS or similar).
• Proficient in sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, Indeed, Dice, and Boolean search.

• Build and maintain talent pipelines for in-demand IT skills.

We are seeking an experienced Canada IT Recruiter to source, engage, and place top technology talent across Canada. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the Canadian IT staffing market, work authorization and employment tax terminology, and modern recruitment tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for IT contract and permanent positions.


• Source qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, job boards, referrals, databases, and other sourcing platforms.


• Screen candidates for technical skills, communication, availability, compensation expectations, and work authorization.


• Work with hiring managers to understand job requirements and present well-matched candidates.


• Maintain accurate candidate, client, and pipeline records within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).


• Build and maintain talent pipelines for in-demand IT skills.

Required Qualifications

• Proven 2-7 years of experience in recruiting for IT roles in Canada.


• Strong knowledge of Canadian work authorization and visa terminology, including Canadian citizens, permanent residents, work permit holders, and relevant contractor eligibility.


• Familiarity with Canadian tax and employment terms such as T4, T4A.


• Hands-on experience with ATS platforms such as Bullhorn, JobDiva, Ceipal, iCIMS, or similar systems.


• Experience using sourcing tools including LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, Indeed, Dice, job boards, Boolean search, and social-media sourcing.


• Excellent candidate assessment, relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.


• Ability to manage multiple open roles in a fast-paced staffing environment.
