Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services Private Limited in Chennai invites an experienced Asst Manager - RtoR to lead month-end close activities and govern the Record to Report process.

The ideal candidate is CA with 8+ years of relevant experience, proficient in SAP and Blackline, and skilled in Excel, Power BI and PPT for reporting.

You will mentor a team, ensure SLA achievement, coordinate with auditors, and drive process improvements across accounting operations.

Qualifications

• CA with 8+ years of relevant experience in R2R.
• Experience in month-close processes and intercompany accounting.
• Proficient in SAP and BlackLine; strong Excel/PowerPoint/Power BI.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month close process end-to-end.
• Review journal entries, GL reconciliations, asset, intercompany, cash/bank accounting, and financial reporting.
• Guide team on policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with auditors; prepare audit schedules.
• Drive metrics improvement in Record to Report and deliver against SLAs.
• Lead productivity and process transformation initiatives.

Qualification & experience

• CA

1. Team handling Exp is must
2. Subject matter expert with strong understanding of month close accounting
3. Expert knowledge of SAP and other tools like Blackline etc.
4. Must have good hands-on experience on Microsoft Excel/PPT/Power BI
5. Requires a proactive approach and verbal / written communication.
6. Should have strong interpersonal skill to interact with Management, Stakeholder, and peers effectively. 00A0
7. Ability to communicate and document problems, resolutions, and action plans.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for Month close processes Review of Journal entry preparation, general ledger account reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, intercompany accounting, cash & bank accounting, financial reporting etc.

1. Responsible for guiding the team on matters related to policy and procedures.
2. Prepare audit schedule and coordination with the auditors, as required.
3. Drive business metric improvement in Record to report area
4. Responsible for delivering on SLA/KPIs
5. Responsible for driving productivity & process transformation & efficiencies by generating & executing ideas.
