Job summary

Datamatics Business Solutions seeks a Qualified CA for an Assistant Manager / Manager R2R to lead end-to-end Record to Report for international clients, focusing on European regions. You will manage GL, fixed assets, intercompany, and month-end close while ensuring IFRS/GAAP compliance and accuracy.

You will mentor the R2R team, drive process improvements and automation, and liaise with internal teams and clients across ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and PeopleSoft.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA required.

• Hands-on with SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft ERP systems.
• Experience handling international clients, especially in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end R2R process including GL, fixed assets, intercompany reconciliations.
• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and IFRS/GAAP compliance.
• Mentor and manage the R2R team and drive performance and training.
• Act as key contact for international clients, especially Europe.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and standardisation across R2R.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Qualified CA for an Assistant Manager / Manager R2R role to lead and oversee end-to-end Record to Report operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft or other major ERPs, and an in-depth understanding of R2R processes, particularly for international clients in the European region. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, excellent communication, and proven leadership, including team management and client handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end R2R process, including:
• General Ledger (GL) Accounting & Maintenance
• Fixed Assets accounting and Depreciation processing
• Intercompany Reconciliations and settlements
• Balance Sheet and P&L preparation during month-end close
• Group-level Consolidation and Financial Close activities
• Support for audits and compliance (IFRS/GAAP/local GAAP)
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Maintain a strong understanding of Payables, Receivables, and Payroll from an R2R perspective
• Manage account reconciliations, analysis of variances, and resolve discrepancies
• Leverage ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft to drive process efficiency and accuracy
• Manage and mentor the R2R team to ensure operational excellence, including performance reviews and training
• Act as a key point of contact for international clients, especially in the European region
• Participate in or lead R2R transitions/migrations, including process documentation, knowledge transfer, and stabilisation
• Continuously identify process improvement opportunities, driving automation and standardisation
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with internal teams and external partners.
