Job summary

Shavish Group is seeking an experienced procurement specialist to manage end-to-end procurement for direct materials in automotive components. The role requires developing reliable suppliers, negotiating terms, and handling SAP POs to meet production schedules.

The candidate will monitor supplier performance, conduct cost analyses, and drive cost reductions while ensuring inventory is optimized. Strong coordination with Production, Quality, and Engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• End-to-end procurement experience for direct materials.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Experience with costing, budgeting and sourcing strategies.
• Knowledge of global sourcing and automotive components is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP procurement processes and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement for direct materials in automotive components.
• Identify and develop reliable suppliers/vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Raise and manage POs in SAP systems and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate with internal teams.

Role & responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement activities for direct materials
• Identify and develop reliable suppliers/vendors for automotive components
• Having experience in commodities such as Casting & Machining
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliersRaise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP systems
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery)
• Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Quality, Engineering, Stores)
• Conduct cost analysis and implement cost reduction initiatives
• Manage inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess stock
• Handle vendor audits and ensure compliance with company standards
• Resolve supply-related issues and escalations
• Having experience in global sourcing
