Growth For Impact is seeking a senior sourcing leader to manage end-to-end procurement for mechanical and electronic components. You will develop strategies, onboard suppliers, negotiate terms, and drive cost-reduction initiatives across production, NPI, and development projects.

ROLE
– Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement for mechanical and electronic components.
– Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with cost, quality, delivery, and business requirements.
– Identify, evaluate, develop, and onboard suppliers for new and existing products.
– Handle commercial negotiations, RFQs, price benchmarking, and supplier finalization.
– Drive cost‑reduction and value‑engineering initiatives without compromising quality.
– Manage procurement activities for production, NPI, prototype, and development requirements.
– Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, NPI, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
– Ensure timely material availability and minimize supply disruptions.
– Monitor supplier performance across Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service parameters.
– Develop alternate and local suppliers to reduce dependency and improve supply‑chain resilience.
– Support supplier audits, PPAP/APQP activities, and new‑product development requirements in coordination with Quality and Engineering teams.
– Review purchase orders, contracts, commercial terms, lead times, MOQ, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
– Track market trends, commodity prices, and supply‑chain risks to support procurement decisions.
– Manage supplier escalations and drive closure of commercial and delivery‑related issues.
– Build and mentor the sourcing/purchase team and establish strong procurement processes and governance.
– Maintain sourcing MIS, cost‑saving trackers, supplier databases, and procurement reports for management review.
– Oversee sourcing for sheet metal, machined components, plastic and molded parts, fabrication, die casting, fasteners, enclosures, automotive mechanical assemblies, PCB/PCBA, electronic components, wiring harnesses, connectors, sensors, controllers, displays, and electrical assemblies.
REQUIREMENTS
– 8–12 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, purchase, or supply‑chain functions.
– Strong experience in mechanical and electronic component sourcing.
– Prior exposure to automotive, EV, electronics, Tier‑1, OEM, or manufacturing organizations preferred.
– Strong supplier‑development and vendor‑management experience.
– Excellent commercial negotiation and cost‑analysis skills.
– Good understanding of RFQ, BOM costing, should‑cost analysis, contracts, and purchase processes.
– Understanding of APQP, PPAP, supplier quality, and NPI processes.
– Ability to manage multiple suppliers, categories, and priorities simultaneously.
– Strong stakeholder‑management and cross‑functional coordination skills.
– Good analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
– Experience leading or mentoring a sourcing/procurement team preferred.
– Leadership & ownership: ability to take complete ownership of the sourcing and procurement function and drive accountability.
– Strategic thinking: evaluate supplier strategy, cost opportunities, localization, risk, and long‑term sourcing requirements.
– Negotiation & influencing: excellent negotiation skills with ability to influence suppliers and internal stakeholders.
