Job summary

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–6 years of procurement, purchase and vendor management experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical commodities.

Responsibilities

• Initiate POs per requisitions, align with procedures and confirm delivery with suppliers.
• Negotiate agreements with main suppliers and renew price lists and terms.
• Recommend frame agreements and execute on approval.
• Analyze bids to determine optimal value.

This Position reports to:

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

The work model for the role is:

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Smart Power division at Nashik, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.


• Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.


• Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.


• Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.

Qualifications For The Role

• BE in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.


• 3-6 years of experience in procurement, purchase, and vendor management.


• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical commodities.


• Experience in inventory management and supplier coordination.


• Familiarity with SAP-MM module will be an added advantage.


• Good negotiation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
