ABB's Nashik-based Distribution Solutions Division seeks a Project Manager to lead the project team, ensure delivery per contract, and drive on-time execution on complex electrical projects in India.

You will coordinate with internal teams and customers, manage risks, and monitor progress, resources, and finances to optimize customer satisfaction and contract outcomes.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree (full-time).
• 5–8 years of PM and order execution experience.
• Understanding tech requirements and ensuring deliverables meet specs and contractuals.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring and control.

This Position reports to: Head - Project Management

Your role and responsibilities

• Leading the project team allocated to the project.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Managing the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Distribution Solution division at Nashik, India.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (should be full-time)
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in project management and order execution.
• Understanding technical requirements and ensuring project deliverables align with customer specifications and contractual requirements.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and control to ensure timely delivery.
• Effective stakeholder management skills, including coordination with internal teams, customers, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ability to perform risk assessments, resolve project issues, and adopt a customer-centric approach to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Experience in the Utilities, Public Sector, and Industries segments, with Medium Voltage Switchgear (PGIS) products. Knowledge of SAP‑SD (ERP system).
