Job description

Business Development Executive

Inclearning

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 2 to 5 years. Freshers with exceptional drive are welcome to apply.

About Inclearning

Inclearning is a leadership and managerial skills organisation. We exist because of one problem that organisations have never solved: they promote their best individual contributors into manager roles and then leave them to figure it out. The cost shows up in attrition, disengagement, and teams that quietly underperform.

Our flagship program, The Complete Manager, is built on three capabilities every manager must get right Conversations, Judgement, and Direction and is delivered for two audiences: first-time managers and experienced managers who were never formally taught the job.

Alongside it, we run focused leadership skill programs. What makes us different is practice, not lectures: PerformTalk, our AI-driven simulation tool, lets managers rehearse real performance and feedback conversations before they have them for real.

The other programs are on skills that matter for the leaders in organizations : strategic thinking, change leadership, AI for Leaders.

What you will own
  • Build the pipeline from scratch. Identify, reach, and open conversations with L&D heads, CHROs, HR business partners, and talent leaders in mid-sized and large companies. Cold outreach, LinkedIn, referrals, events, HR forums whatever works, and you will find out what works by doing it.
  • Sell The Complete Manager. Understand the program deeply enough to have a credible conversation with an L&D head about how first-time and experienced manager cohorts should be structured, sized, and rolled out. You will be selling to people who have seen many training vendors. They will know within five minutes if you understand their problem.
  • Sell leadership skill programs. Position our shorter programs on leadership capabilities as entry points and as follow-ons for existing clients.
  • Run the full cycle. First call to proposal to negotiation to signed contract. You will draft proposals, present to buying committees, handle procurement, and hand over cleanly to delivery. Then stay in touch, because the second cohort is easier to sell than the first.
  • Demo PerformTalk. Learn the simulation tool well enough to run a live demo that lands. This is our sharpest differentiator and it needs to be shown, not described.
  • Feed the product. You will hear objections, budget realities, and what clients actually ask for. Bring that back. At this stage, the person selling shapes what gets built.
  • Keep the numbers honest. Maintain the pipeline, forecast realistically, and report weekly on what moved and what did not.
Who we are looking for
  • BBA or MBA, ideally with a marketing, HR, or general management focus.
  • 2 to years in B2B sales, business development, or client-facing roles or selling to HR or L&D buyers, or selling training, SaaS, or professional services, is a strong plus. A fresher with the right drive and evidence of initiative (a college venture, a side business, a sales internship where you actually closed something) will be considered seriously.
  • Entrepreneurial drive. You treat targets as your own, not as something handed down. You would rather build a process than wait for one.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. Priorities will shift as we learn. You need to be fine with that.
  • Curiosity about how people learn and how managers develop. You do not need an HR background, but you need to find this subject interesting, because you will be talking about it all day.
  • Strong written and spoken English. Proposals, emails, and presentations are a large part of the job.
  • Willingness to be hands-on with tools like CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and AI tools for research and drafting. We are a lean team and use AI heavily.
What you get
  • Work directly with the leadership team. You will learn how enterprise L&D deals are structured and closed, working directly with people who have sold to CHROs and L&D heads for years.
  • Ownership early. No layers. Your territory, your accounts, your results.
  • A product with a genuine edge. AI-driven practice for managers is where corporate learning is heading, and we are building it now.
  • Compensation: Fixed salary plus a performance-linked incentive tied to closed revenue. As the business grows, early team members will have a path to larger roles.
