Job summary

The Organic World is seeking an experienced leader to drive property acquisition for new store openings in Bengaluru. You will identify locations, conduct market mapping, and negotiate lease terms, coordinating with legal and operations to launch stores successfully.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in property acquisition/retail expansion, with strong knowledge of commercial leasing, due diligence, and stakeholder management. Willingness to travel for site visits is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level graduate in a relevant field with business exposure.
• 5+ years of experience in property acquisition or related expansion roles.
• Experience in retail/FMCG/QSR property consulting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial leasing and real estate documentation.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals within timelines.
• Willingness to travel extensively for site visits and surveys.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire suitable retail properties for new store openings as per business expansion plans.
• Conduct market mapping, site surveys, and feasibility studies to evaluate potential locations.
• Negotiate commercial terms, rentals, lease agreements, lock-in periods, and other property-related contracts.
• Develop strong relationships with landlords, brokers, property consultants, and local stakeholders.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, projects, and operations teams for property finalization and store launch.
• Analyze catchment areas, footfall, demographics, competitor presence, and business potential of prospective locations.
• Ensure all documentation related to property acquisition and leasing is complete and compliant.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of prospective properties across target markets.
• Track market trends, rental benchmarks, and emerging retail hotspots.
• Support management with expansion planning and property acquisition reports.

Required Qualifications
