Business Development Manager / Sales Manager
Business Development Manager / Sales Manager
4-8 Years
Best in the industry.
- Position: Business Development Manager / Sales Manager
We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to lead net-new client acquisition for Dimentics across the Education and Corporate Learning ecosystem — K-12, Higher Education, and Corporate L&D/Training. You’ll sell into both the domestic Indian market and international markets (US, Europe, Middle East). This is a hunting-focused role: you will own outbound prospecting, pipeline building, and deal closure for new logos — not inherited accounts. If you’re energized by opening doors, running a full-cycle sales process across geographies, and being paid meaningfully for revenue you personally generate, this role is built for you.
What You’ll Own
- Build and personally drive a new-business pipeline across India and international markets (US/Europe/Middle East) through cold outreach, email/LinkedIn sequencing, referrals, and market mapping — targeting 80%+ self-sourced pipeline.
- Carry and consistently deliver a quarterly new-logo revenue quota across assigned segment(s) and geographies (target to be shared during interview, based on territory).
- Run the full sales cycle end-to-end: discovery, solution positioning, demos, proposal/RFP response, commercial negotiation, and close.
- Sell learning solutions, digital content, and training services to K-12, Higher Education, and Corporate L&D buyers across India and international markets.
- Partner with Pre-Sales, Instructional Design, and Delivery to shape winning proposals and ensure a credible handoff post-close.
- Keep CRM pipeline, forecasts, and activity data accurate and current — this role is measured on numbers, not just activity.
- Track competitor moves and market trends to sharpen positioning and identify white-space opportunities.
What You Bring
- 3–6 years of B2B new-business / outbound sales experience with a track record of self-sourced, quota-carrying wins (not primarily inherited or renewal-driven accounts).
- Proven experience selling into both Indian and international markets (US, Europe, and/or Middle East) — comfortable owning cross-border deals and working across time zones.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect cold and convert — comfortable being measured on outbound activity and net-new revenue, not just relationship maintenance.
- Consultative, solution-based selling skills; sharp discovery and objection-handling instincts.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with senior/international stakeholders.
- Working proficiency in a CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) and MS Office.
- Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and a target-driven environment.
Preference
- Prior sales experience in EdTech, eLearning, Corporate L&D, K-12/Higher Education, Educational Publishing, Assessment & Testing, or SaaS-based learning solutions.
- Experience responding to and winning RFPs/RFIs in institutional or enterprise sales.
