Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Business Development Manager‑Engineering Services to lead our sales and business development in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading a sales team, building strategic customer relationships, and expanding the company’s market presence in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Engineering Services in the allocated territory, including lead generation, mapping large existing customers for service opportunities, sales forecasting, negotiation and closure.
• Be a number‑driven and result‑oriented individual.
• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to make presentations to CXO‑level prospects and large forums.
• Work with clients in various sectors to identify CAE project requirements, plan execution with available resources, and promote the engineering services we provide.
• Possess a strong engineering background with the capability to conceptualize customer requirements.
• Have relevant experience in Computer Aided Engineering/Design.
• Achieve target‑based sales, acquiring, engaging and scaling customer relationships.
• Set up appointments, schedule meetings, conduct technical discussions and demos with clients.
• Negotiate agreement terms, close sales, and conduct follow‑ups until deals are closed.
• Coordinate with the tech support team and managers to strategize deals and discuss prospective leads.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: UG – Bachelors/Masters in any engineering domain (Preferred: Mech./Prod./Civil), PG – MBA/PGDM – Sales/Marketing is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Engineering Services and experience with CAE software tools such as ANSYS, LS‑DYNA, Nastran, Abaqus.
• Excellent prospecting, qualification, presentation and selling skills.
• A team‑player attitude, customer‑service oriented with strong work ethic and hunter attitude.
• Willingness to travel.
