Job summary

NewArtX, a digital fine art platform and studio, seeks a relationship-driven Business Development Manager to build presence within the architecture and interior design community in Mumbai. You will drive partnerships with architects, interior designers, luxury designers and design firms, guiding projects from concept to specification.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with architects, interior designers, design studios and project consultants.
• Identify opportunities for NewArtX digital artworks, NAX Canvas displays and digital installations in luxury spaces.
• Present NewArtX portfolio, artist collaborations and digital art possibilities to design firms and their clients.
• Work with designers to integrate digital art into mood boards and project presentations.
• Generate leads from interior, architecture, hospitality, real estate and corporate projects.
• Coordinate with curation, studio, content and technical teams for proposals.
• Conduct studio visits, presentations and demonstrations for architects, designers and clients.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of project opportunities and follow through the sales cycle.
• Support pricing, proposal creation, negotiations and closure.

NewArtX is a digital fine art platform and studio working with leading Indian contemporary, modern and tribal artists to create, curate and showcase digital art for screens, immersive installations, public spaces, luxury residences, corporate offices and hospitality projects.

We work at the intersection of art, technology and interiors, helping architects, designers, developers and brands bring meaningful digital art into physical spaces.

Role Overview

We are looking for a relationship-driven Business Development Manager to build NewArtXs presence within the architecture and interior design community.

The role will focus on developing partnerships with architects, interior designers, luxury residential designers, hospitality designers and commercial workplace design firms. The candidate will be responsible for introducing NewArtXs digital art solutions into projects at the concept, design and specification stage.

This is not a regular product sales role. The candidate must be able to understand design intent, spatial storytelling, client aspirations and project requirements, and position NewArtX as a new-age art and design medium.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with architects, interior designers, design studios and project consultants.
• Identify opportunities for NewArtX digital artworks, NAX Canvas displays and digital installations in luxury homes, offices, hotels, lobbies, experience centres and public spaces.
• Present NewArtXs portfolio, artist collaborations and digital art possibilities to design firms and their clients.
• Work closely with designers to integrate digital art into mood boards, material palettes, design concepts and project presentations.
• Generate leads from ongoing interior, architecture, hospitality, real estate and corporate projects.
• Coordinate with the internal curation, studio, content and technical teams to develop project-specific proposals.
• Conduct studio visits, presentations and demonstrations for architects, designers and clients.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of project opportunities and follow up through the full sales cycle.
• Support pricing, proposal creation, negotiations and closure.
• Track market trends in luxury interiors, art, technology, lighting, AV and experiential spaces.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have prior experience selling premium products or solutions to architects and interior designers.

Preferred background from industries such as:

• Luxury lighting
• AV solutions
• Digital signage
• Luxury surfaces, marble, veneers, wall panels or finishes
• High-end dcor or art advisory
• Hospitality or workplace design solutions

Required Experience

• 4-8 years of experience in business development, project sales or relationship sales.
