You will coordinate with Directors, manage databases, and develop strategies to raise brand awareness and drive growth within local and international markets. You will oversee proposals, client communications and events, while collaborating with designers, management and partners.

Job description

Reports To Managing Director or designated supervisor in dwp organization chart.

Position Description

• Identify and develop potential clients and projects that relate to our business in coordination with the Directors.
• Maintain and organise marketing materials and databases.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote and develop awareness of our business.
• Develop overall sales and marketing planning and implementation.
• Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives and market characteristics.
• Coordinate and communicate with customers to provide relevant information.
• Prepare proposals and contracts to deliver to customers.
• Network with a range of stakeholders including clients, colleagues, suppliers, and partner organisations.
• Communicate with target audiences and manage client relationships.
• Define and develop potential clients and projects that relate to our business in coordination with the Directors.
• Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote and develop awareness and recognition of our business.
• Assist supervisors of the Business Development Unit in assigned tasks related to business development strategy.

Responsibilities

1. Business Development

• Research client background and update marketing information of the company to provide background information to the management
• Organise and coordinate with Management, Designers, to prepare program of events and activities Coordinate with Designers and Directors using standard formats for briefing, collect all relevant information for the design proposal from the client
• Prepare competitive proposal packages for new project pitches
• Prepare letter of introduction and/or expression of interest packages for potential leads/clients
• Update M101 project review summary and reports and communicate the same with all the Directors and the Executive Management
• Analyse the M101 reports from dwp’s other offices (each country) to connect leads/proposals/projects to generate local leads/proposals/project
• Set up meetings with potential client for Executive Directors and Studio Directors to present capabilities and dwp company profile.

2. IT and Data Management

• Update in database new and completed projects and marketing leads
• Update CRM database and manage it effectively

3. Marketing and Promotion

• Update chamber event list and other associations and groups and participate in chamber and other related events at least once a month
• Plan activities and information distribution for the company including print media, internet and publishing to promoting company awareness
• Maintain and update dwp capability statements for the various sectors, brochure, company profile, relevant project experience
• Prepare for weekly management marketing meeting
• Organise photo session, project description
• Coordinate with the design team to prepare proposals
• Maintain a media list and detail all activities in the media
• Research information regarding potential target clients from local business newspapers, Internet; other media and identify client groups as listed below
• Maintain register of upcoming proposals, current proposals, leads
• Maintain a list of calls, emails and correspondence of the day including calls to follow up the result of the proposals
• Add and update information in CRM program including dwp contacts categories
• Maintain a list of building managers and real estate agencies and arrange annual gifts
• Coordinate Photographic shooting of completed projects and contact suppliers about selling duplicate photographs of the project
• Develop promotion planning for the company via design magazines, local and international, internet and publishes
• Prepare the marketing strategy plan for the next year
• Maintain details of design magazines/internet and publishers that have information of the company and keep information in the marketing files
• Update/develop the dwp Marketing manual
• Select news about expansion, renovation and new business from newspaper for management consideration
• Coordinate with other dwp offices on marketing activities
• Prepare and maintain a list of clients to send Christmas cards or other promotional gifts etc.
• Organise events for clients and supporters
• Prepare and maintain client target lists with details of client’s size of business and target date of the project.
• Attend marketing and promotion events relating to our business
• Prepare background information and marketing strategies to target each sector group above and submit to management for approval.
• Create and manage the development of ‘enews’ to be sent out on a monthly basis.

4. Administration

• Arrange Notebook and LCD for presentation
• Typing and filing of documents for management meetings / Monday meetings / presentation meetings / site and client meetings / studio director meeting – all in relation to business development and marketing.

5. Quality

• To ensure that the Quality Management System is implemented and maintained and to evaluate where continual improvement can be made

6. AI Integration

• Utilize approved AI tools (including LLMs and Generative AI) to assist with
• Market research and competitor analysis.
• Lead generation and qualification.
• Content creation (e.g., drafting emails, social media posts, proposal sections).
• Personalizing communication with potential clients.
• Anayzing marketing data to identify trends and opportunities.
