Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and technically sound professional to lead business development in the Transport Infrastructure sector. The role involves driving strategic growth across Railways, Metro, Highways, Roads, Bridges, Airports, Logistics, and Urban Mobility, both domestically and internationally. The candidate will identify opportunities, build strategic client relationships, develop sector intelligence, and position the organization as a preferred consulting partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development initiatives with Central/State Governments, PSUs, Multilateral Agencies, and Development Partners.
- Track policies, funding programs, infrastructure investments, PPP frameworks, and market trends across transport infrastructure sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments, infrastructure agencies, funding institutions, and strategic partners.
- Drive EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, proposals, technical presentations, and client pitches with technical teams.
- Collaborate with Sector Heads to develop market entry strategies, key account plans, and growth initiatives.
- Develop thought leadership content (white papers, publications, knowledge notes, market intelligence reports).
- Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and client meetings.
- Support strategic partnerships, consortiums, and collaborations for large consulting assignments.
- Promote innovation, knowledge management, and continuous improvement within the practice.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 12 years of experience in business development, advisory, or consulting within the Transport Infrastructure sector.
- Strong understanding of Railways, Metro, Highways, Roads, Bridges, Airports, Logistics, and Urban Mobility ecosystems.
- Experience in opportunity identification, client engagement, proposal management, and consulting sales for infrastructure projects.
- Wellversed with government programmes, PPP frameworks, and multilateralfunded transport projects.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, marketoriented leader with strong strategic thinking and technical appreciation of the transport infrastructure sector.
