Job summary

The Muthoot Group is seeking a Sales Business Development Officer (BDO) to drive field sales, lead generation, and customer acquisition in the assigned territory. You will build relationships with customers, visit local markets, and coordinate with branches to ensure smooth loan processing and timely service.

You will explain loan products, eligibility, and documentation, meet monthly targets, and maintain accurate sales records.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through customer acquisition and lead generation.
• Promote Muthoot Finance loan and financial products to prospective customers.
• Visit customers, businesses, and local markets to generate leads.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
• Achieve monthly sales and business targets.
• Explain loan products, eligibility, documentation, interest rates, and repayment terms to customers.
• Collect and verify required customer documents.
• Coordinate with the branch and credit team for smooth loan processing.
• Follow up with leads and convert them into successful customers.
• Ensure proper customer service and timely resolution of queries.
• Identify new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
• Maintain daily sales reports and update lead/customer information.
