Job summary

Roth Pets in Mumbai is seeking a driven Business Development Executive to expand our pet-care brand across the city. You will identify, approach and convert B2B and retail leads, visiting stores, clinics and distributors to build a growing partner network.

With strong communication, relationship-building and a passion for pets, you will own end-to-end sales in your territory, manage leads and drive repeat orders as Roth Pets scales its presence in Mumbai's vibrant retail landscape.

About Roth Pets

Roth Pets is a growing pet-care brand founded by veterinarians, creating smart and convenient hygiene products for dogs and cats. As we expand across Mumbai, were looking for someone whos excited to grow with us.

The Role

If you enjoy meeting people, building relationships and turning conversations into business, this role is for you.

You'll be out in the market introducing Roth Pets to pet stores, vet clinics, groomers and other retail partners, bringing new clients on board and building relationships that lead to repeat business.

What You'll Do

• Find and approach new B2B and retail leads
• Visit potential clients across Mumbai
• Pitch our products and convert leads into customers
• Build strong relationships with retailers
• Follow up with clients and drive repeat orders
• Manage your leads, sales and follow-ups independently

What Success Looks Like

In your first 6 months, we'd like you to build a strong base of active retail partners and develop repeat business from at least 50% of the clients you onboard for example, 20 repeat orders from every 40 stores converted.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in sales and lead generation
• Comfortable with field visits, cold calling and client meetings
• Good communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable around pets

Preferred

• Experience in FMCG, pet retail or B2B retail sales
• Experience working with retailers or distributors
