Resort A in India is seeking a Business Development Executive to generate new business across corporate, travel-trade, weddings, and groups. You will drive sales through calls, visits, emails, social media, and networking to convert enquiries into bookings.
You will promote resort facilities, manage client relationships, conduct site visits, prepare proposals, and coordinate with Reservations and Front Office to close deals.
Business Development Executive – Resort A Business Development Executive (BDE) in a resort is responsible for generating new business, increasing room and event revenue, developing corporate and travel-trade relationships, and promoting the resort to potential clients. Key responsibilities: Sales & Business Development Identify and approach new corporate, travel, wedding, and group clients. Generate leads through calls, visits, emails, social media, and networking. Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. Corporate & Travel Trade Sales Build relationships with corporate companies, travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs, and event planners. Conduct regular client visits and sales calls. Develop corporate contracts and tie-ups. Room & Resort Sales Promote accommodation, restaurants, spa, activities, and other resort facilities. Handle enquiries for FITs, groups, conferences, weddings, and other events. Coordinate with Reservations and Front Office to convert leads into bookings. Events & MICE Generate business for meetings, conferences, weddings, parties, and other functions. Prepare proposals and coordinate site inspections. Follow up with clients until confirmation and payment. Client Relationship Management Maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Conduct client meetings and resort visits. Collect feedback and identify opportunities for repeat business. Market & Competitor Analysis Monitor competitor rates, packages, promotions, and market activities. Identify new market segments and potential business opportunities. Reporting Maintain a database of leads and clients. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports. Track enquiries, conversions, revenue, and sales targets. Key performance indicators (KPIs) Room-night generation Revenue generated Number of new corporate accounts New travel-agent/DMC tie-ups Enquiry-to-booking conversion MICE/wedding/event revenue Repeat business Achievement of monthly sales targets
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
