Job summary

Equitas Small Finance Bank is seeking a vehicle finance sales professional for New Commercial Vehicles. The role involves building a pipeline from dealers and references, managing customer relationships, and ensuring timely loan documentation for first-time-right processing.

You will also generate cross-sell opportunities and maintain 100% regulatory compliance, with a focus on English and regional language communication and strong Excel reporting skills. 0–6 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop consistent pipeline of applications from good quality customers requiring finance for New Commercial Vehicles through direct sourcing, dealers or references.
• Effectively manage relationships with customers by addressing requirements promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all loan proposal documentation is obtained timely to follow the First Time Right principle.
• Generate and pass on leads for cross-sell products (Saving Accounts, Current Accounts, Term Deposits, FASTag).
• Ensure 100% compliance to policies, processes and RBI/regulatory matters.

Purpose of the role:

• To ensure high quality delivery of relevant vehicle finance products & services to our clients in a fair and transparent manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop consistent pipeline of applications from good quality customers who require finance for purchase of New Commercial Vehicles through direct sourcing, Dealers, market references etc.,
• Effectively manage relationships with all customers by responding to their requirements in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that all documentation and information related to loan proposals are obtained in a timely manner to practice First Time Right’ principle.
• Actively generate & pass on leads for cross-sell products like Saving Accounts, Current Accounts, Term Deposits, FASTag (wherever applicable)
• Ensure 100% compliance to Policies & Processes and all regulatory matters of RBI and other statutory bodies

Desired Experience:

Number of years of experience (range): 0-6 years

• Type of companies/sector worked for: OEM / Dealer Sales / Banks/NBFCs, should have relevant experience used commercial vehicle finance .
• Responsibilities managed in the previous organizations: The applicant should have experience in Used Commercial vehicle finance, should have excellent contacts in the local vehicle finance market. Experience in understanding viability, vehicle types, dynamics of used commercial vehicle market is critical for this role.
• Languages: Working knowledge of English and fluency in regional language of the state applying for. Ability to speak in other regional languages would be an added advantage.
• Computer/technical skills (if any): Should be comfortable in using Excel (ability to analyze reports sent from Head Office) and email (ability to communicate clearly in written English).
