Job summary

Equitas Small Finance Bank is seeking a Branch Relationship Officer - Used Car in Bengaluru to drive vehicle finance business. You will source and process loan applications, maintain relationships with customers and dealers, and ensure timely, accurate documentation following First Time Right principles.

You will also cross-sell products and ensure RBI and statutory compliance while working in a field role focused on used commercial vehicle finance.

Qualifications

• Graduation in any field.
• MBA or PG would be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in English and regional language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a consistent pipeline of applications for New Commercial Vehicles finance.
• Manage relationships with customers in a timely, professional manner.
• Ensure documentation for loan proposals is complete on first submission (First Time Right).
• Pass on leads for cross-sell products like Savings Accounts, Current Accounts and Term Deposits.

Job Description

Purpose of the role:

• To ensure high quality delivery of relevant vehicle finance products & services to our clients in a fair and transparent manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop consistent pipeline of applications from good quality customers who require finance for purchase of New Commercial Vehicles through direct sourcing, Dealers, market references etc.,
• Effectively manage relationships with all customers by responding to their requirements in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that all documentation and information related to loan proposals are obtained in a timely manner to practice ‘First Time Right’ principle.
• Actively generate & pass on leads for cross-sell products like Saving Accounts, Current Accounts, Term Deposits, FASTag (wherever applicable)
• Ensure 100% compliance to Policies & Processes and all regulatory matters of RBI and other statutory bodies

Desired Experience:

Number of years of experience (range): 3-6 years

• Type of companies/sector worked for: OEM / Dealer Sales / Banks/NBFCs, should have relevant experience used commercial vehicle finance .
• Responsibilities managed in the previous organizations: The applicant should have experience in Used Commercial vehicle finance, should have excellent contacts in the local vehicle finance market. Experience in understanding viability, vehicle types, dynamics of used commercial vehicle market is critical for this role.
• Languages: Working knowledge of English and fluency in regional language of the state applying for. Ability to speak in other regional languages would be an added advantage.
• Computer/technical skills (if any): Should be comfortable in using Excel (ability to analyze reports sent from Head Office) and email (ability to communicate clearly in written English).
