Porter in India is seeking a high-ownership Business Associate to lead expansion in Kottayam District, Kerala. You will drive on-ground city launches, establish seamless operations, onboard partners and customers, and build a high-performing local team from Day 0.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in field work / field sales / field operations is mandatory.
• Must be fluent in the local language; basic English/Malayalam.
• Should own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
• Basic working knowledge of MS Excel (data entry, tracking, reports).
• Ability to use smartphones, apps, and digital onboarding tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-field visits to identify and approach potential driver partners.
• Explain the company, its services, benefits, and earning opportunities to drivers.
• Onboard driver partners on the field, including documentation and app onboarding.
• Ensure drivers understand onboarding requirements, policies, and processes.
• Achieve daily/weekly onboarding and conversion targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve onboarding or documentation issues.
• Maintain accurate field data and daily reports using Excel and internal tools.
• Support and guide junior field staff, if assigned.

Preferred candidate profile

• Good local area knowledge (routes, transport hubs, driver hotspots).
• Must be comfortable with extensive fieldwork and target-driven roles.
• Should own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
