Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services invites a Business Analyst to work on Core Banking projects in Mumbai. The role demands deep domain knowledge across deposits, loans, trade finance and related accounting, with hands-on experience of core banking systems.

You will map client requirements to TCS BaNCS capabilities, prepare BRD/SDD, coordinate with stakeholders, and support solution design and product development to deliver differentiated banking solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong functional background and understanding of Core Banking in banking space (deposits, loans, trade finance, CASA).
• Experience on a Core Banking system is a key skill.
• Experience in Loans Operations or Trade Finance Operations is a plus.
• Capable to handle multiple stakeholders from business requirement collection with bank staff/teams.
• Capability to prepare business requirements and solution specification documents.
• Experience in a Core Banking company, product developer, integrator, or bank core operations service centre.

Responsibilities

• Working with the Customer to understand the business requirements.
• Understand the TCS BaNCS product and map requirements to product capabilities.
• Implement TCS BaNCS solution in customer environment.
• Collaborate with Product Development to review and verify expected functionality/ enhancements.
• Create thought leadership content and differentiated solutions (e.g., AI in Core Banking).
• Make presentations and demonstrate TCS BaNCS to customers and prospects.
• Study regulatory and market standard evolution in Banking and translate to BRs.

Exp : 5 - 15 Yrs

Must Have:

1. Strong functional background and understanding of Core Banking. This is in the banking space with areas like Deposits , Loans , Trade Finance , CASA and related accounting
2. Experience on a Core Banking system is a key skill needed
3. Experience in Loans Operations , Trade Finance Operations will be an added advantage
