Job summary

Clarium Tech in Chennai is seeking a Business Analyst with 3–6 years of experience in Banking/BFSI to join our team. The role focuses on gathering and documenting business requirements, creating BRDs/FRDs, and ensuring clear acceptance criteria as projects progress through SDLC.

The candidate will collaborate with business users, Product Owners, development, and QA teams to translate needs into actionable specifications.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of BA experience in Banking/BFSI
• Strong requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation skills
• Experience with BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC/STLC
• Experience supporting SIT and UAT
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst with 3–5 years of experience in the Banking / BFSI domain. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, functional documentation, and stakeholder management.

The candidate will work closely with business users, Product Owners, development teams, and QA teams to translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.
• Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
• Translate business requirements into BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, and Functional Specifications.
• Define Acceptance Criteria and ensure requirements are clear and testable.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, defect triaging, and business validation.
• Perform Gap Analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Prepare process flows, functional documentation, and wireframes as required.

Must-Have Skills

• 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience in the Banking / BFSI domain.
• Strong experience in Requirement Gathering, Analysis, and Documentation.
• Good knowledge of BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good understanding of SDLC/STLC.
• Experience supporting SIT and UAT.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Banking Domain Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Payments / Fund Transfers
• Retail / Corporate Banking
• Account Opening / Account Management
• Loans / Deposits
• Cards / Digital Banking
• KYC / AML
• Transaction Processing
• Reconciliation / Settlement

Good to Have

• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience with JIRA / Confluence / MS Visio.
• Knowledge of API concepts and integration flows.
• Exposure to Digital Banking, Open Banking, or Payment Systems.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
