Job summary

Sarom Fab Pvt. Ltd. in Thane / Bhiwandi is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze performance, generate MIS reports, and deliver actionable insights to support management decisions. The role focuses on dashboards, KPI tracking, and data coordination with Sales and other departments.

The candidate should have 2–5 years of MIS or sales reporting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Power BI and SQL to automate reporting and improve accuracy.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of MIS, business analytics, or sales/commercial reporting experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel, especially pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Experience creating MIS reports and dashboards; ability to track KPIs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, revenue, inventory, and operations performance to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and dashboards.
• Track KPIs, budgets, and forecasts; highlight deviations and suggest corrective actions.
• Present data insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
• Coordinate with Sales and other departments to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
• Support forecasting, process improvements, and reporting automation.

Job Objective

To analyze business performance, develop accurate MIS reports, and provide actionable insights that support management decisions, operational efficiency, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Analysis: Analyze sales, revenue, inventory, and operational performance to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities.
2. MIS & Dashboards: Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and performance trackers.
3. Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, targets, budgets, and forecasts; highlight deviations and recommend corrective actions.
4. Management Insights: Present meaningful data insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions.
5. Data Coordination: Coordinate with Sales and relevant departments to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.
6. Planning & Improvement: Support business forecasting, process improvements, and reporting automation.

Required Skills

• Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, dashboards).
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in MIS reporting, business analysis, and KPI tracking.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2–5 years of experience in MIS, business analytics, or sales/commercial reporting.
• Experience in textile, manufacturing, retail, or FMCG industries preferred.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of translating data into actionable business insights.
