Job summary

OpsTree Global in Noida is seeking a Central MIS Executive/Analyst to own on-time reporting and consolidate data from core banking, payments and product systems into dashboards and regulatory inputs. You will work with Power BI/Tableau/Looker/Superset and ensure accuracy for leadership reviews.

The role requires 2–5 years in MIS, strong SQL skills and advanced Excel, with collaboration across operations, finance and product teams to drive insights and governance.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering, Statistics preferred.
• 2–5 years in MIS, reporting or data analytics.
• Strong SQL: joins, window functions, CTEs, query optimisation on large datasets.
• Advanced Excel: pivots, Power Query, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, macros/VBA.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker or Superset).
• Understanding of banking and payments metrics: CASA, transaction success rates, TAT, GMV, customer funnels.
• Clear written and verbal communication for presenting data to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Reporting and dashboards: publish daily, weekly, monthly MIS on volumes, transactions, revenue and KPIs.
• Data management: extract, clean and consolidate data from banking, payments, CRM and data-lake sources using SQL.
• Regulatory and audit support: provide data inputs for RBI and NPCI and audits within timelines.
• Stakeholder management: gather reporting requirements and handle ad-hoc data requests.
• Governance: ensure data privacy, access controls and maintain SOPs for recurring MIS.

Role overview

• Experience: 2–5 years in MIS / reporting, preferably in banking, payments or fintech

Role purpose

The Central MIS resource owns accurate, on-time reporting for business, operations, finance and leadership. The role consolidates data from core banking, payments and product systems into a single source of truth, and turns it into dashboards, regulatory inputs and decision-ready reports.

Key responsibilities

Reporting and dashboards

• Prepare and publish daily, weekly and monthly MIS on business volumes, transactions, customer acquisition, revenue and operational KPIs.

• Build and maintain dashboards (Power BI / Tableau / Looker / Superset) for leadership and business teams.

• Automate recurring reports to cut manual effort and turnaround time.

Data management

• Extract, clean and consolidate data from core banking, payments (UPI, IMPS, AEPS, FASTag, wallet), CRM and data-lake sources using SQL.

• Maintain report logic, data dictionaries and a central repository of KPI definitions.

• Reconcile figures across systems and resolve data mismatches with source owners.

Regulatory and audit support

• Provide data inputs for RBI and NPCI returns, internal audit, statutory audit and compliance requests within agreed timelines.

• Ensure data accuracy, version control and audit trails for every published report.

Stakeholder management

• Gather reporting requirements from business, operations, finance, risk and product teams.

• Handle ad-hoc data requests and deep-dive analysis for leadership reviews.

• Highlight trends, anomalies and business insights proactively, not just numbers.

Governance

• Follow data-privacy, access-control and information-security policies when handling customer data.

• Document processes and SOPs for every recurring MIS.

Required skills and qualifications

• Graduate in Engineering, Statistics preferred.

• 2–5 years in MIS, reporting or data analytics.

• Strong SQL: joins, window functions, CTEs, query optimisation on large datasets.

• Advanced Excel: pivots, Power Query, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, macros/VBA.
