Job summary

Mphasis in Chennai seeks a Business Analyst to manage the Credit Card domain, covering end-to-end lifecycle, card applications, billing, and rewards. You will collaborate with stakeholders to capture processes, define automation needs, and translate them into detailed requirements for implementation.

Responsibilities include documenting use cases, leading workshops, and ensuring QA through test plans. Strong communication and adaptability to a dynamic fintech environment are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in end to end lifecycle of Credit Card issuer area.
• Expert in card application, account management, credit & terms, rewards & benefits, payment processing, billing and collection.
• Expert in monetary processing, Non-Monetary processing, Credit Bureau Processing, Reissue, Month end processing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document current business processes and automation requirements.
• Document and demonstrate e2e functional knowledge of card development projects with lead/senior BA role in cards systems such as T-Sys, VisionPlus, Optis.
• Define and document detailed business requirements for automation projects, including process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Create test plans and test cases, and conduct testing to ensure automation solutions meet business requirements.
• Monitor performance of automation solutions and recommend continuous improvements.
• Provide training and support to end-users for adoption of automation solutions.

ROLE: Business Analyst

Credit Card Domain

• Experience in end to end lifecycle of Credit Card issuer area
• Expert in card application, account management, credit & terms, rewards & benefits, payment processing, billing and collection
• Expert in monetary processing, Non-Monetary processing, Credit Bureau Processing, Reissue, Month end processing,
• Experience in Payments, Rewards, Rules processing, Configurations, and Reporting,
• Experience in regulatory compliance in the area of interest rate, and cardholder data
• Working knowledge of how credit card issuer lifecycle works for business / merchant, financial institutes
• Good to have knowledge of BIAN methodology & standards

Technical Skills:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document current business processes and automation requirements.
• Must have working experience in Cards management system ability to demonstrate e2e functional knowledge
• Analyze and assess business processes to identify automation opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Ability to demonstrate, articulate functional implementation of card development projects with lead/ senior BA role in any of the cards system such as T-Sys, Vision plus, Optis
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and document detailed business requirements for automation projects, including process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and feedback from business users and subject matter experts.
• Collaborate with IT and automation teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications for automation solutions.
• Assist in the selection and implementation of automation tools and technologies.
• Create test plans, test cases, and conduct testing to ensure that automation solutions meet business requirements.
• Monitor the performance of automation solutions, track key performance indicators, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Provide training and support to end-users and ensure the successful adoption of automation solutions.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging automation trends.
